Job summary

Avita Health System in Galion, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the ICU Department. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care, ensure continuity across shifts, and supervise assistants while promoting patient education and advocacy.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the nursing care of patients within the nursing unit.
• Provides direct care and supervises nursing assistants, LPNs and support staff to ensure continuity of care across shifts.
• Participates in patient and family teaching and advocates for the patient while aligning with the organization’s mission.
