As an RN, you will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and support families while maintaining patient advocacy aligned with our mission.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Ohio.
• Current BLS & ACLS certification.
• Preferred: two (2) or more years of nursing experience; telemetry experience; PALS certification for charge trained nurses.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates nursing care of patients within the unit.
• Ensures continuity of care between shifts by supervising nursing assistants, LPNs and staff.
• Participates in patient and family teaching and maintains patient advocacy.

We’re currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our MedSurg Department at our Galionlocation.

Position Overview

Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the nursing care of patients within the nursing unit. Responsible for ensuring continuity of care of the patients between shifts by providing direct care as well as supervising the care given by nursing assistants, LPNs and supportive staff members. Participates in patient and family teaching. Maintains role as patient advocate with a focus on the organization’s mission.

Qualifications

Required:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS & ACLS certification.

Preferred:

• Two (2) or more years of previous nursing experience.
• Previous telemetry experience.
• PALS certification. (For charge trained nurses.)
