Job summary

Avita Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the MedSurg Department at our Galion location. This role focuses on assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care while ensuring continuity across shifts.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Ohio is required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Two or more years of nursing experience preferred.
• Telemetry experience is preferred.
• PALS certification is preferred for charge-trained nurses.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for patients in MedSurg.
• Ensure continuity of care across shifts and supervise nursing assistants and staff.
• Provide patient and family teaching and advocate for patients in line with Avita Health System's mission.
