Genesis HealthCare is seeking an experienced MDS Coordinator - RN to ensure accurate MDS assessments and care plan reviews in our nursing centers. You will collaborate with nursing, dietary, social services and physicians to optimize reimbursement and maintain high quality care.

The role requires RN licensure and at least one year of long-term care experience, with opportunities for growth within Genesis HealthCare and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure. LPNs with MDS experience may be considered.
• At least one year of long-term care nursing experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the process and tracking of Medicare/Medicaid case-mix documents for reimbursement.
• Conduct concurrent MDS reviews to maximize allowable RUG categories.
• Integrate information from nursing, dietary, social services, restorative, rehabilitation, and physician services to ensure reimbursement.
