Touchstone Communities in Texas is seeking an RN MDS Coordinator to oversee the MDS assessment and reimbursement process in a skilled nursing facility. You will collaborate with clinical and financial teams to maximize reimbursement while ensuring residents receive high-quality care.

The role requires an active Texas RN license and MDS experience. You will work in a regulatory-focused environment with opportunities for growth and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

Active Texas RN license (or valid Compact State RN license)
Experience with MDS, SNF settings, and reimbursement workflows
Strong understanding of Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement systems
Knowledge of state and federal RAI regulations and coding
Excellent organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities

Lead the MDS process to ensure accurate assessments and reimbursement
Collaborate with clinical and financial teams to optimize reimbursement and compliance
Stay up to date on state and federal RAI and reimbursement regulations
Coordinate interdisciplinary care plans that meet residents' needs
Ensure accuracy in documentation, assessments, and coding
