The role requires 1-3 years of MDS experience and an active RN license in Florida, with strong regulatory knowledge and a commitment to resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of MDS experience required.
• Active RN license in the state of employment.
• Solid understanding of state and federal long-term care regulations.
• Two+ years of clinical nursing in skilled nursing or long-term care.
• Proficiency or strong interest in learning MDS 3.0 and care plan development.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee completion of resident assessments (MDS 3.0) for timely submissions.
• Develop individualized care plans driving quality outcomes and compliance.
• Monitor Medicare and Medicaid requirements, initiating coverage where needed.
• Support nursing staff development and ensure optimal care delivery.
• Collaborate with leadership to maximize resident care reimbursement and goals.
