Ginger Cove in Annapolis, MD is seeking a Nurse MDS Coordinator (RN/RNAC) to join our premier life-care retirement community. This full-time, day-shift role focuses on leading MDS assessments, resident care plans, and regulatory compliance with a collaborative interdisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates hold an active Maryland RN license with MDS experience, strong organization and leadership, and a commitment to quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license.
• Proficient with electronic medical records.
• MDS experience required.
• Strong knowledge of MDS regulations and submission process.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and complete all MDS assessments and resident care plans.
• Ensure timely, accurate documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Lead interdisciplinary care plan meetings with residents and families.
• Monitor CMS Quality Measures and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, dietary, social services, and rehabilitation teams.
• Support Medicare reimbursement accuracy through complete documentation.
• Participate in QAPI initiatives and survey readiness.
• Assist with policy development, clinical documentation, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Help maintain compliance with federal and state regulations.
