Job summary

Mifflin Center is seeking an experienced MDS Coordinator - RN to ensure timely and accurate completion of the MDS assessment tool and review care plans in alignment with high standards of care. You will collaborate with nursing, dietary, social services, rehabilitation and physician teams to assure proper reimbursement.

The role requires an RN license and at least one year in long-term care, with opportunities for growth and advancement in a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current RN licensure.
• At least one year of long-term care nursing experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Medicare/Medicaid case-mix documentation for reimbursement.
• Conduct concurrent MDS reviews to maximize achievable RUG categories.
• Coordinate data from nursing, dietary, social services, restorative, rehabilitation and physician services.
