Merit Health in the United States is seeking an experienced MDS Assessment Coordinator – RN to oversee and coordinate the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process, ensuring accurate and timely MDS completion and reporting. You will lead interdisciplinary care plan conferences, ensure regulatory compliance, and support nursing staff with clinical guidance.

You will leverage your RN licensure and MDS knowledge to drive quality patient care, maintain audit readiness, and collaborate with care

Formación

• Requires RN licensure in good standing.
• Minimum 2–4 years clinical nursing experience in relevant settings.
• Experience with MDS assessments preferred or required.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate scheduling, completion, and submission of MDS assessments per state and federal regulations.
• Facilitate interdisciplinary care plan development and updates.
• Transmit MDS data to state systems within required timeframes.
• Maintain accurate records and retention for audits and regulatory needs.
• Provide updates to stakeholders and care teams as needed.
• Evaluate admissions to ensure appropriate placement and care planning.
