Kindred Hospital San Antonio seeks a Nursing Education Leader to coordinate education calendars and in-service programs across market hospitals. You will develop orientation modules for new IP, RN, and LVN, forecast the education budget, and drive staff competency through collaboration with managers and peers.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in nursing, RN licensure, and 2+ years as a preceptor or in management with 5+ years in acute care. BLS/ACLS are required; travel ~20%.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing is required.
• Master’s degree or clinical specialty is preferred.
• Appropriate state licensure for registered nurse.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum two years’ experience as clinical preceptor or management experience required.
• Minimum five years’ experience in an acute care Medical/Surgical and/or ICU/CCU setting.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate monthly education calendars and training across market hospitals.
• Develop orientation modules for new IP, RN, and LVN.
• Forecast and administer the education operating budget.
• Oversee continuing and in-service education for market hospitals.
• Coordinate hospital orientation across departments and areas.
• Lead periodic in-service training per Quality Council or PI Team decisions.
• Support Hospital Quality Council and Corporate Compliance program.
• Promote adherence to the Code of Business Conduct.
