Job summary

Genesiscareers seeks a Market Nurse Education Specialist to lead clinical education across our Skilled Nursing Facilities in the assigned market. You will develop and implement education strategies, coordinate programs, and mentor staff to ensure safe, compliant care.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license and an MSN, with 3+ years in education and 2+ years in Long Term Care or Post-Acute settings. Travel is required to facilities to provide on-site training and support.

Qualifications

Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a current RN license.
MSN required.
Certification in a specialty area is strongly preferred.
Minimum of five (3) years full-time or equivalent clinical experience in education; Two years in Long Term Care / Post-Acute Care.

Responsibilities

Lead Educational Strategy: develop and implement standardized education strategies to improve outcomes and competency.
Coordinate and deliver comprehensive education programs (orientation, competency checks, skills training).
Conduct needs assessments to identify gaps and curricula.
Monitor staff competency and ensure regulatory compliance.
Support quality improvement and survey readiness with clinical leadership.
Provide coaching and mentorship to Nurse Practice Educators.
Implement corporate clinical policies and quality initiatives.
Collaborate with market leadership and interdisciplinary teams; travel to facilities for on-site education.
