Adventist Health Delano is seeking a Staff RN Manager for Labor and Delivery. You will lead a high‑performing unit, supervise nursing staff, and collaborate with physicians and department leaders to ensure safe, efficient, and patient‑centered care on a daily basis.

The role emphasizes scheduling, staff development, and adherence to regulatory standards, with a focus on outcomes and family‑centered care in a busy obstetric setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing or equivalent education/experience required.
• Master's Degree preferred for advanced leadership roles.
• Five years’ technical experience preferred.
• One year leadership experience preferred.
• Two years acute-care nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Builds a high performing clinical team and coaches staff.
• Sets goals for patient safety, quality of care, and regulatory compliance.
• Directs daily rounds with physicians and health team members.
• Manages unit staffing, overtime, and monthly schedules.
• Facilitates throughput and timely admissions, transfers, and discharges.
