Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Master's Degree is preferred.
• Five years' technical nursing experience is preferred.
• One year's leadership experience is preferred.
• Two years' acute care nursing experience in a hospital setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Builds a high performing clinical work team by recruiting and retaining skilled professional staff. Sets standards of care and ensures staff accountability.
• Directs daily rounds with physicians and staff to coordinate appropriate care and communicate effectively.
• Monitors patient safety, quality of care, and regulatory compliance through audits and data analysis.
• Manages unit staffing, overtime, and scheduling to maintain optimal coverage and reduce gaps.
• Leads performance evaluations and professional development for personnel on the unit.
