Job summary

Adventist Health Delano is seeking a registered nurse for the Labor & Delivery department on the night shift. You will deliver coordinated nursing care according to standards, collect data, and develop and implement care plans for assigned patients.

This role requires RN licensure in California, BSN preferred, CPR/BLS, and obstetric certifications. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred.
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required.
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required.
• AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS: Required.
• STABLE: Required.
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS: Required.
• Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM): Required.

Responsibilities

• Collects data pertinent to the patient’s health; analyzes data to determine diagnosis and care needs.
• Develops a care plan and implements it; coordinates care delivery.
• Collaborates with patient, family, and healthcare team to provide safe, humane care.
• Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Delegates and coordinates duties of healthcare team members.
