Job summary

Adventist Health Twin Cities is seeking an RN Lead for Labor and Delivery and Postpartum to oversee unit operations during the night shift. The role partners with the Nurse Manager, physicians, and staff to ensure safe, high-quality care and positive patient experiences.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Nursing, an active RN license in California, and strong supervisory skills. Advanced degrees and certifications (BLS, ACLS, FHM) are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
• RN licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Supervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required; AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS: Required; Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM): Required

Responsibilities

• Provides unit-based leadership and directs nursing personnel on the Labor and Delivery/Postpartum unit.
• Develops and revises individualized care plans with the health team and families.
• Ensures patient safety and quality of care through performance improvement and policy adherence.
• Monitors staffing and workflow to optimize patient care and staff development.
