Job summary

tms is seeking a Registered Nurse for a long-term care setting. You will provide and coordinate nursing care using the nursing process, administer medications, develop and update care plans, and supervise LPNs and CNAs to ensure high-quality resident care.

You will serve as a clinical resource, ensuring care is delivered per regulatory standards and collaborating with physicians, therapy teams, families, and an interdisciplinary group to maintain optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting is preferred.
• RN licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents on admission and on an ongoing basis, and develop individualized plans of care.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policy.
• Supervise, delegate to and provide clinical direction for LPNs and Certified Nursing Assistants.
• Evaluate resident response to interventions and revise the plan of care as needed.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and support regulatory survey readiness.
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapy, families and interdisciplinary team members.
