Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide compassionate nursing care in a long-term care setting. You will administer medications, perform assessments, and document care in resident records.

Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician, you will supervise Certified Nursing Assistants, communicate changes to the care team, and ensure infection control and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program.
• LPN licensure in the state of practice.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policy.
• Perform resident assessments and monitor for changes in physical, cognitive or behavioral status.
• Supervise and delegate to Certified Nursing Assistants on the assigned unit.
• Complete accurate documentation in the resident record and MAR.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to the RN, physician and family as appropriate.
• Follow infection control, safety and regulatory requirements governing long-term care practice.

Job Summary

Delivers nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting under the direction of a Registered Nurse or physician. Administers medications and treatments, monitors resident status, and supervises the work of Certified Nursing Assistants. Maintains accurate clinical documentation and communicates changes in resident condition to the care team.

Education & Experience

• Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program: Required
• Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting: Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
