Job summary

The Greens at Gastonia in Gastonia, NC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Weekend Warrior Supervisor to join our nursing leadership team. This full-time role oversees weekend nursing operations and ensures high-quality care for residents.

The position features 16-hour weekend shifts, a $10,000 sign-on bonus, additional weekend pay, competitive base pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for growth within a supportive, Great Place to Work certified facility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current, active NC RN license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing experience preferred.
• Previous nursing leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and provide direction to the nursing team.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of nursing operations throughout the weekend.
• Ensure residents receive high-quality, compassionate care in accordance with their individualized plans of care.
• Supervise, support, and provide guidance to RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
• Perform resident assessments and assist with medications, treatments, and documentation as needed.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and ensure appropriate follow-up.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, families, nursing leadership, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and care coordination.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and state and federal regulations.
• Serve as a clinical resource and point of support for the weekend nursing team.
