Job summary

Madisonville Health and Rehabilitation is seeking an LPN or RN Unit Manager to join our leadership team. You will oversee daily clinical operations, mentor RNs/LPNs/CNAs, and ensure residents receive high-quality, compliant care in a compassionate setting. This role emphasizes clinical decision-making and staff development to improve patient outcomes.

The Unit Manager will coordinate care plans, monitor regulatory compliance, and foster a positive team culture within the nursing department.

Qualifications

• Current LPN or RN license in State.
• At least one year of experience as an LPN or RN in a long‑term care setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of Matrixcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinical operations on the unit and guide nursing staff to ensure high-quality resident care.
• Direct and develop RNs, LPNs, and CNAs to deliver care in compliance with laws and guidelines.
• Perform medication administration and IV duties as ordered by a physician.
• Document nursing interventions and resident/family education in charts and records.
• Coordinate admission, transfer, and discharge of residents and monitor care plans.
• Delegate assignments and supervise nursing staff on the unit to ensure timely responses to care needs.
