Job summary

Luxor Healthcare is seeking an LPN - RN Unit Manager to lead the nursing department and manage daily operations in a full-time role. The position works under the Director of Nursing, ensuring staffing, quality assurance, and resident care standards are met across rounds and shifts.

The ideal candidate holds a Missouri LPN license, has LTC experience if possible, and demonstrates strong leadership and commitment to patient care improvements. Availability for after-hours on-call is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Missouri LPN license.
• Long Term Care experience preferred.
• Strong ability to lead and develop personnel.
• Committed to improving patient care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day nursing operations with staffing and QA oversight.
• Conduct daily rounds to observe operations and enforce safety and infection control.
• Collaborate with QA nurse on incident reports and corrective actions.
• Supervise staff scheduling and reallocate as needed to meet duties.
• Participate in QA/QI programs and complete audits and reporting.
• Rotate after-hours on-call duties as assigned.
• May work floor as staff nurse during shortages.
