Job summary

Madisonville Health and Rehabilitation is seeking an LPN or RN Unit Manager to lead a nursing unit and oversee daily clinical operations. You will mentor staff, guide care plans, and ensure regulatory compliance in a compassionate long-term care setting.

The role emphasizes clinical decision-making, teamwork, and improving resident outcomes while managing shifts and coordination with the ADON/DON. Experience in LTC is preferred and leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Current LPN or RN license in the state.
• At least 1 year of experience as an LPN or RN in a long-term care setting preferred.
• Knowledge of Matrixcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily unit operations and ensure high quality resident care.
• Direct and develop RNs, LPNs, and CNAs on the unit.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and facility guidelines.
• Document nursing interventions and maintain accurate resident charts.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed.
