Crestview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Shelbyville is seeking an RN Unit Manager to supervise the nursing unit, oversee RNs, LPNs and CNAs, and ensure delivery of high-quality resident care in compliance with regulations. The role involves rounds, care plan updates, medication administration, staff development, recruitment support, and collaboration with ADON and DON.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in State.
• Experience as an RN in long-term care preferred.
• Knowledge of Matrixcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors facility clinical systems to facilitate quality resident care.
• Delivers basic nursing care to residents as ordered by a physician.
• Directs and develops RNs, LPNs and CNAs on the unit.
• Performs medication administration and IV duties as ordered.
• Conducts rounds to assess resident conditions and clinical practices.
• Documents nursing care notes in resident charts in a timely manner.
• Assists in recruitment, selection and orientation of nursing staff.
• Supervises RNs, LPNs and CNAs on the nursing unit; delegates assignments.
