Monticello Public Schools is seeking a Temporary Full-Time Licensed School Nurse to provide health care services, medication administration, and maintain health records within the building(s) of assignment. The position reports to the Licensed School Nurse and supports district policies and procedures.

Requires Minnesota-Board licensure, CPR and First Aid certifications, and strong communication with students, families, and staff.

Qualifikationen

• RN or LPN license issued by Minnesota Board of Nursing.
• Current CPR certification for Healthcare Professional and current First Aid certification.
• Use flexible thinking and adaptability to address student needs and responds calmly during crisis situations, when necessary.
• Coordinate services and supports with outside providers.
• Effective communication and teaming skills, both verbally and in writing, with students, parents, teachers, administrators, community and staff.
• Establishes a culture for learning by supporting the mission, beliefs and the district's strategic plan.
• Maintain confidentiality of information about students, staff and families.
• Experience working with diverse students and families - CLR methods preferred.

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Licensed School Nurse, responsible for health care services, medication administration, and maintenance of health records within the building(s) of assignment and in accordance with District policies and procedures.

Education & Qualifications Requirements

• License as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse from Minnesota Board of Nursing.
• Current CPR certification for the Healthcare Professional and current First Aid certification.
• Use flexible thinking and adaptability to address student needs and responds calmly during crisis situations, when necessary.
• Coordinate services and supports with outside providers.
• Effective communication and teaming skills, both verbally and in writing, with students, parents, teachers, administrators, community and staff
• Establishes a culture for learning by supporting the mission, beliefs and the strategic plan of the district
• Maintain confidentiality of information about students, staff and families
• Experience working with diverse students and families - experience/training with CLR (Culturally Linguistically Responsive) methods preferred

Hourly Substitute Rate: $21.73/hr ($19.75/hr + 10% differential)
