Job summary

Monticello School District is seeking a Temporary Full-Time Licensed School Nurse to provide health care services, administer medications, and maintain health records within assigned buildings in accordance with district policies.

Under the direction of the Licensed School Nurse, CPR and First Aid certifications are required, with collaboration among students, families, teachers, and outside providers. Hourly substitute rate applies.

Temporary Full-Time Position, 10/26/2026 - 01/15/2027
Job Summary: Under the direction of the Licensed School Nurse, responsible for health care services, medication administration, and maintenance of health records within the building(s) of assignment and in accordance with District policies and procedures.

Education & Qualifications Requirements:

• Certified MA, EMT or CNA
• Current CPR certification for the Healthcare Professional and current First Aid certification.
• Use flexible thinking and adaptability to address student needs and responds calmly during crisis situations, when necessary.
• Coordinate services and supports with outside providers.
• Effective communication and teaming skills, both verbally and in writing, with students, parents, teachers, administrators, community and staff
• Establishes a culture for learning by supporting the mission, beliefs and the strategic plan of the district
• Maintain confidentiality of information about students, staff and families
• Experience working with diverse students and families - experience/training with CLR (Culturally Linguistically Responsive) methods preferred

Hourly Substitute Rate: $21.73/hr ($19.75/hr + 10% differential)
