Job summary

Monticello Public Schools is seeking a temporary RN/LPN for Monticello Middle School for 10/26/2026 - 01/15/2027. Under the supervision of the licensed school nurse, you will provide health care services, manage medications, and maintain health records across district buildings.

The position requires MN RN or LPN licensure, current CPR and First Aid certifications, and strong communication with students, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Active MN RN or LPN license required.
• Current CPR certification for Healthcare Professional.
• Current First Aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide health care services, medication administration, and health record maintenance.
• Collaborate with district staff, families, and outside providers as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of student and staff health information.
• Support crisis response and student wellbeing in coordination with the nurse.

Temporary Full-Time Position, 10/26/2026 - 01/15/2027

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Licensed School Nurse, responsible for health care services, medication administration, and maintenance of health records within the building(s) of assignment and in accordance with District policies and procedures.

Education & Qualifications Requirements

• License as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse from Minnesota Board of Nursing.
• Current CPR certification for the Healthcare Professional and current First Aid certification.

Hourly Substitute Rate: $21.73/hr ($19.75/hr + 10% differential)
