Job summary

Sioux Center Health is seeking a Clinical Nursing Educator to lead resident-focused education and staff development in our Long Term Care setting. You will assess, plan, coordinate, teach, and evaluate training programs for all team members, ensuring quality and compassionate care in a faith-based environment.

You will orient new staff, mentor current employees, and collaborate with management to continually improve education initiatives and patient outcomes within our award-winning facility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing for licensed practical nurse or registered nurse.
• Minimum of one year of experience in Long Term Care preferred.
• Current RN/LPN license in the State of Iowa.
• Must obtain CPR certification within 3 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Manage orientation and staff development for new or current team members.
• Coordinate orientation schedules with scheduler or CNA Coordinator.
• Provide feedback, coaching, and mentoring; ensure orientation documentation is complete.
• Develop, monitor, and evaluate education and mentoring programs for quality improvement.
