Job summary

Sioux Center Health is seeking a Registered Nurse - LTC to provide professional nursing care to residents using the nursing process and established standards. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while supervising other staff and coordinating with the health care team.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and an Iowa RN license, with a preference for 1 year of LTC experience and CPR within 3 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing for registered nursing.
• Minimum of one year of nursing and/or long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately documents and actualizes the nursing process to provide resident care.
• Performs initial and follow-up assessments and develops the care plan.
• Supervises care by unlicensed personnel and LPNs; coordinates across care continuum.
• Acts as charge nurse/preceptor and participates in multidisciplinary care.
• Ensures resident rights and provides family education.
