Job summary

WesleyLife's Fieldstone of DeWitt, part of the WellSpire community, is seeking an RN or LPN to support residents' health and daily living on the 3rd shift.

As a licensed nurse, you will assess, administer meds, provide wound care and IV therapy, collaborate with physicians and families, supervise CNAs, and ensure infection control. Join a mission-driven team delivering compassionate, clinically excellent care.

Qualifications

• State of Iowa RN or LPN license is required.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments with documentation and monitoring for side effects.
• Provide direct nursing care, including wound care, IV therapy, and catheter management.
• Coordinate with physicians, families, and the healthcare team to optimize resident care.
• Supervise and support CNAs and other staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and infection control protocols.
• Offer emotional support and education to residents and families.

About the Role: Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse

As an RN/LPN, you’ll play a key role in supporting the health, happiness, and daily experience of the residents at Fieldstone of DeWitt.

As a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' health conditions, including vital signs, and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation and monitoring for side effects.
• Provide direct nursing care, such as wound care, IV therapy, and catheter management.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate and optimize resident care, including communicating with physicians and families.
• Supervise and support CNAs and other healthcare staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for residents.
• Offer emotional support and education to residents and their families, promoting overall well-being and understanding of care plans.

Open Shifts Available

• 3rd Shift (6:00pm-6:00am) Full-Time (12hr shifts)
