Job summary

WesleyLife is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join Fieldstone of DeWitt in DeWitt, IA. You will support residents with daily living tasks and provide compassionate care in a welcoming senior living community.

This role focuses on health monitoring, medication assistance, activity participation, and teamwork with the care staff to ensure comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• CNA certification is required.

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and passing medications.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Conduct routine health monitoring, such as checking vital signs and administering medications.
• Facilitate resident participation in recreational and therapeutic activities.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care.
• PRN, as needed

About the Role: CNA

As a CNA, you’ll play a key role in supporting the health, happiness, and daily experience of the residents at Fieldstone in DeWitt.

As a CNA, you will:

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and passing medications.
• Provide emotional support and companionship, fostering a positive and engaging environment.
• Conduct routine health monitoring, such as checking vital signs and administering medications.
• Facilitate resident participation in recreational and therapeutic activities.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care.
• PRN, as needed
