WesleyLife is recruiting a Cook/Homemaker for Fieldstone of DeWitt, IA to support residents’ health and daily experiences through meals. You’ll work with Culinary Leaders to prepare diverse menus and adapt to modified diets.

The position offers shifts 6:00–2:30 and 3:30–7:30, with benefits including health care, tuition options, and growth opportunities within a purpose-driven community.

Responsibilities

• Create Delicious Meals: Prepare a variety of hot and cold dishes daily using chef-approved recipes that highlight your culinary skills.
• Work Alongside Culinary Leaders: Collaborate with Chefs and Culinary Directors while gaining hands-on experience in a professional kitchen.
• Support Specialized Diets: Help craft meals that meet modified diet plans, making a real difference in guests' health and satisfaction.
• Maintain High Standards: Monitor food quality, manage portions, and act quickly to ensure every plate meets our service excellence.
• Practice Smart & Clean Cooking: Follow proper sanitation and waste control practices, contributing to a safe, efficient, and sustainable kitchen.

About the Role: Cook/Homemaker

As a Cook, you’ll play a key role in supporting the health, happiness, and daily experience of the residents at Fieldstone of DeWitt.

As a Cook/Homemaker, you will:

• Create Delicious Meals: Prepare a variety of hot and cold dishes daily using chef-approved recipes that highlight your culinary skills.
• Work Alongside Culinary Leaders: Collaborate with Chefs and Culinary Directors while gaining hands-on experience in a professional kitchen.
• Support Specialized Diets: Help craft meals that meet modified diet plans, making a real difference in guests' health and satisfaction.

Opening:

• As needed first (6AM-2:30PM) or second shift (3:30PM-7:30PM)
