Job summary

Florala Health and Rehabilitation is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our long-term care and rehabilitation team. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care, assess residents, administer meds, and collaborate with physicians and therapists to implement personalized care plans.

We seek a compassionate professional with a current RN license, strong communication, and a commitment to resident-first care. New grads are encouraged to apply; BLS/CPR is required, ACLS a plus.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state you wish to work.
• New grads encouraged to apply.
• Experience in geriatric, long-term care, or rehabilitation nursing preferred.
• Solid understanding of clinical protocols and regulations.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• BLS/CPR certification required (ACLS a plus).

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered nursing care as a key member of our RN team.
• Monitor residents’ conditions, perform assessments, and document changes accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and RN protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other Registered Nurses and healthcare professionals to implement individualized care plans.
• Educate residents and families on health conditions and care plans.
• Maintain up-to-date and compliant RN documentation in electronic medical records (EMR).
• Ensure a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for all residents.
• Supervise and support CNAs and other direct care staff.
