Job summary

Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, IL seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) in Labor and Delivery with float duties to Postpartum. This full-time role schedules 3 shifts per week from 7pm to 7am, every other weekend and holiday, in a high-risk Level III unit serving diverse families.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• One year or more of Labor and Delivery and/or Postpartum experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
