Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Current State of Illinois Registered Professional Nurse
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)

Responsibilities

Performs established procedures in accordance with hospital policies and standards.
Assesses patient/family educational needs and readiness to learn.
Develops and updates nursing plan of care with input from interdisciplinary team.
Initiates communication with physicians and healthcare providers.
Monitors patient response to treatment and adjusts care as needed.
Prioritizes care needs as patient status changes.
Participates in discharge planning and patient education.
Applies standards of care and follows OSHA guidelines.
Documents treatments, assessments, and patient responses accurately.
