Advocate Health is seeking a highly skilled Level 3 NICU Registered Nurse for our Park Ridge, IL facilities. The role supports Neonatal Intensive Care Unit patients on 12-hour night shifts, with self-scheduled or float rotations as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the applicable state(s).
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be needed based on specialty.

Responsibilities

• Engage in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with family engagement.
• Monitor patient conditions, adjust care plans, and collaborate with the care team to outcomes.
• Uphold a culture of safety and maintain accurate EHR documentation.
• Float to other units as needed within the service area to meet patient care needs.
