Job summary
AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the PCU Medical unit on days. This full-time role covers 36 hours per week with rotating weekends and holidays, and includes opportunities for advancement through the Clinical Ladder Program with potential salary increases.
The nurse will assess patients, administer medications, educate families, and coordinate care with the team to ensure high-quality outcomes; Florida background screening may apply and pay range is posted.
Qualifications
- RN license is required.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Associate's degree in nursing is required; a Bachelor's is preferred.
- One+ year of acute care experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments per orders and monitor reactions.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions and self-care.
- Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate and optimize care.
