Job summary

AdventHealth Apopka seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join our full-time team. You will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, implement individualized care plans, and administer medications safely following physician orders.

You will educate patients and families, document care accurately, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care and patient safety. Eligible clinicians may advance through the Clinical Ladder program.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing is required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.
• 1+ year of acute care hospital experience is preferred.
• RN license and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments and self-care.
• Document care activities and outcomes accurately in the medical record.
• Collaborate with staff to coordinate and improve patient care.
