Job summary

Orlando Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Multisystem Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Orlando, FL. You will care for Cardiac, Respiratory, Neuro, Renal, GI, and Post-Op patients in a fast-paced acute care setting on a 40-bed unit that operates 24/7.

The role offers opportunities for unit-based and corporate educational support, with a night shift including rotating weekends and holidays. Current Florida RN license and BLS are required; ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC may be necessary depending

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current Florida RN license or valid multistate license.
• BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC may be required based on the area of assignment.
• 1 year of PCU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for Cardiac, Respiratory, Neuro, Renal, GI and Post-Op patients.
• Deliver care in a 24/7, 40-bed Multisystem PCU.
• Participate in ongoing education and unit-based training.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure quality outcomes.

Position Summary: Join our dynamic team as a Registered Nurse in the Multisystem Progressive Care Unit (PCU). In this role, you will provide exceptional care in a fast-paced, acute care environment. You'll handle a wide range of conditions including Cardiac, Respiratory, Neuro, Renal, GI, and Post-Op patients. Our 40-bed unit operates 24/7 and offers robust support through corporate and unit-based educational opportunities.

Qualifications

• Education/Training:


• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.


• Completion of mandatory, developmental, and performance competency requirements for Orlando Health and the specific unit/department.


• Licensure/Certification:


• Current State of Florida RN license or valid eNLC multistate RN license.


• Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.


• ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC may be required based on the area of assignment. NRP certification is necessary for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).


• Experience:


• 1 year of PCU experience preferred.
