St. David's North Austin Medical Center seeks a dedicated Lactation Consultant RN to champion breastfeeding within the facility. You will educate new mothers and families, assist with complex breastfeeding cases, and provide discharge teaching and ongoing lactation support per current guidelines.

You will train maternal nursing staff to ensure consistent, accurate information and collaborate across the childbirth education program to support post-discharge services.

Qualifications

• RN who champions breastfeeding program and educates patients per AAP guidelines.
• Assist with management of patients with complex breastfeeding problems.
• Provide lactation discharge teaching and on-going lactation support resources.
• Educate within the Childbirth Education Program and consult post-discharge.
