Job summary

Resolute Baptist Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide breast-feeding education and consultation in inpatient and outpatient settings. You will mentor staff, monitor education quality, and ensure adherence to national standards.

The role emphasizes lactation support, clinical nursing excellence, and ongoing professional development within a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Minimum 2 years clinical nursing practice.
Experience teaching adults and lactation consulting is a plus.
Current Texas State RN license required; lactation certification preferred within 1 year.
Active BLS (ARC/AHA) required; BLS within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Provides breast-feeding education and consultation to patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.
Provides staff development guidance for staff providing lactation support.
Monitors and revises breast-feeding education to align with national standards.
Mentors and evaluates lactation education instructors.
Completes required competencies within introductory period and performs related duties.
