St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with labor and delivery exposure to provide direct patient care in a high-acuity setting.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement care plans, coordinate discharge planning, and ensure compassionate, evidence-based nursing practice in accordance with hospital policies. This position includes a rotating shift schedule and opportunities for professional growth within the Hartford HealthCare

Qualificações

• Must have labor and delivery experience.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Associate degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current Connecticut RN license.
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association.
• Two years of Medical-Surgical/Critical Care experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Implements and monitors patient care plans; records and communicates patient condition.
• Serves as primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates discharge planning with the healthcare team.
• Provides individualized care addressing physical, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual and age-related needs.
• Delegates care to nursing personnel to maximize staff performance.
• Participates in daily interdisciplinary patient rounds; contributes to outcomes.
• Adheres to ANA standards of practice and ethics guidelines.
• Develops, implements and revises individualized plans of care.
• Participates in professional growth activities outside patient care.
• Other duties as assigned.
