Qualifikationen

• Must have labor and delivery experience.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Current Connecticut RN license.
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association.

• Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols.
• Implements and monitors patient care plans; documents patient condition.
• Acts as primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Coordinates discharge planning needs with healthcare team.
• Assess patient needs to provide individualized care across diverse populations.
• Delegates care to nursing staff per education and expertise.
• Participates in daily interdisciplinary rounds and supports optimal patient outcomes.
• Adheres to ANA standards and ethics in practice.
• Develops and revises care plans as needed.
• Engages in professional growth activities.
