Job summary

Longmont United Hospital in Colorado is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the OB Postpartum Unit. You will support labor, delivery and postpartum care, collaborating with the healthcare team to meet physical, emotional and spiritual needs of patients and families.

The role requires an Associate Degree in Nursing, RN license in the state, and at least one year of Labor & Delivery experience. Schedule is two 12-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends and holidays; $20,000 sign-on

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma/endorsement required.
• At least 1 year of RN experience in Labor & Delivery.
• RN license in state of employment.
• Physical requirements: medium work up to 50 lbs., etc.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs (physical, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual) and intervene to optimize outcomes.
• Develop and implement care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Document care, outcomes, and teaching with accurate charting and IT tools.
• Provide patient/family education and support.
