Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery in Colorado. You will care for laboring patients and newborns, monitor maternal and fetal well‑being, and assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries.

The role requires an RN with an accredited nursing degree and an active license in the state. BLS and NRP are required; additional EFM and ALSO certifications are preferred. You will educate families and respond to obstetric emergencies.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS, NRP certifications required.
• EFM and ALSO certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors maternal vital signs and fetal heart rate patterns throughout labor.
• Administers medications per physician orders, including oxytocin and pain relief.
• Assists with vaginal deliveries and supports cesarean sections.
• Provides immediate newborn assessment and care after delivery.
• Educates patients and families on labor, pain management, and postpartum recovery.
• Recognizes and responds to obstetric emergencies such as hemorrhage.

Job Summary

Provides nursing care to laboring patients and their newborns throughout the antepartum, intrapartum, and immediate postpartum periods. Monitors maternal and fetal well-being, assists with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, and supports patients through labor and delivery.

Education & Experience

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Required)
• Minimum 1-2 years of labor and delivery or obstetric nursing experience (Preferred)

Licenses & Certifications

• Current RN license in state of practice (Required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (Required)
• Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification (Preferred)
• Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO) certification (Preferred)
