Job summary

AdventHealth in Littleton, CO seeks a skilled RN to assist with newborn care during deliveries and provide immediate post-delivery support. You will maintain resuscitation skills and assess obstetrical patients to identify risks, reporting issues promptly to physicians.

The role requires RN licensure, BLS and NRP certifications, and a minimum of 1 year in L&D. This on-site position offers comprehensive benefits and a sign-on/relocation package where applicable.

Qualifications

• RN license is required.
• Minimum 1 year of L&D experience.
• BLS and NRP certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with newborn care at deliveries and provide immediate post-delivery support.
• Demonstrate neonatal resuscitation skills for emergencies.
• Assess high- and low-risk obstetrical patients and identify potential issues.
• Report maternal and newborn problems promptly to the physician.
• Assist with safe transfers of newborns to other facilities when needed.
• Accurately identify and band newborns, mothers, and significant others.
