Job summary

St. Anthony North Hospital in Westminster, CO is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to collaborate with the healthcare team and patient/family to meet physical, emotional, and spiritual needs while delivering compassionate care.

The role emphasizes nursing process adherence, patient safety, and teamwork within a mission-driven environment, with opportunities for education and role expansion on a dynamic labor and postpartum unit.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement.
• RN License in state of employment.
• Physical Requirements: Medium Work exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10lbs. constantly.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation and data review; evaluate and intervene for optimal outcome.
• Develop and implement patient plan of care and observe outcomes with the interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate competency in IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection.
• Maintain patient charts and records; document status, interventions, and outcomes; use IT to communicate and support decision-making.
• Promote, advocate and collaborate to protect patient health and safety.
• Provide patient/family education by assessing learning readiness and delivering teaching.
