Job summary

Allina Health’s Mercy Mother Baby Center in Minnesota seeks a Registered Nurse to care for obstetrics patients in labor and postpartum. You will work with a dedicated team, including 24/7 in-house OB/GYNs and neonatal staff, to deliver high-quality maternity care in a supportive environment.

The role entails comprehensive patient assessment, care planning, and coordination with families and multiple disciplines.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Vocational degree required for RN licensure.
• Bachelor's degree preferred for advancement.
• 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive assessment and planning of patient care.
• Maintain competency to provide high quality patient care.
• Coordinate care with family, patient, and team.
• Lead and delegate as charge nurse or preceptor when applicable.
• Support obstetrics during antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum.
