Job summary

Fairview Health Services is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Birthplace Labor and Delivery team in Minnesota. The role supports care for a culturally diverse community through an interdisciplinary model including physicians, midwives, and anesthesiologists.

The unit emphasizes evidence-based practice and continuous professional development in partnership with the University of Minnesota. The RN will work 0.7 FTE night shifts with 56 hours biweekly, handling both low- and high-risk

Qualifications

• MN RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• New Graduate position open to Capstone/Student Intern in High Risk L&D unit.

Responsibilities

• 56 hours per two-week pay period (0.7 FTE) Night shift; 8 hour shifts; Every other weekend.
• Provide expert care to low- and high-risk pregnant patients.
• Support antepartum and postpartum mothers and families.
• Assess and document fetal monitoring.
• Advocate for family birth plan and participate in shared decision-making.
• Collaborate as an engaged team member in safety and communication.
• Advance skills to circulate in the OR after labor experience.
• NRP and ACLS training provided.
