Job summary

Allina Health in Buffalo, MN is seeking a registered nurse for the Birth Center to provide obstetric care across the antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum periods. The role includes 8- and 12-hour day/night shifts with every third weekend rotation, and 0.5–0.7 FTE, depending on unit needs.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license in MN or WI with at least 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience, plus required certifications (BLS/NRP).

Qualifications

• Associate's or Vocational degree in nursing.
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
• Current RN license MN or WI upon hire, depending on state.
• NRP and BLS certifications as required; RN-C preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient and family needs and plan care.
• Coordinate care and supervise progress.
• Provide obstetric care antepartum to postpartum.
• Supervise charge nurse or preceptor when applicable.
• Maintain evidence-based nursing practices.
