Job summary

Allina Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support patient care in the Labor and Delivery/MAC department in Minneapolis. The role works evening/night shifts on an 8-hour schedule, part-time, with every-other weekend rotation and a 20-hour biweekly commitment.

The CNA assists in daily patient care under RN supervision, takes vital signs, moves and transports patients, and helps with activities of daily living.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or 17 years of age with high school diploma or GED.
• Successful completion of CNA program OR completion of one semester of clinical rotations OR completion of Allina Health Nursing Assistant Academy OR previous direct patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care/interventions as assigned.
• Observes, collects and documents health status data as assigned.
• Contributes to a safe environment for patients, visitors, and employees.
• Other duties as assigned.
