Job summary

Mercy Joplin's Birthing Center seeks experienced Labor and Delivery nurses to provide high-quality patient care in a 15-suite facility with two OR rooms and a Level III NICU. The role requires an RN with a nursing degree, in-state or compact licensure, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited school is required.
• Current RN license in the state and/or compact licensure for duties performed and must meet state board requirements.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.

• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.

Position Details:

Mercy Joplin's Birthing Center offers 15 suites designed for labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum periods. We have 2 fully equipped OR rooms within the Birthing Center, along with a Level III NICU to offer the region’s best care for premature or critically ill infants.

Seeking experienced L&D Nurses

Qualifications:

• Required Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited school
• License: Current RN license in our state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements
• Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association
